Route 510 and Route 602 Changes Effective July 1

We’re fine tuning our routes, to improve efficiency and ensure our riders an on-time arrival.
 
Route changes will go into effect July 1, 2023, for Route 510: Laurens and Route 602: Woodruff Connector. These changes are being made in an effort to keep the routes running on time and to ensure customers are able to make timed connections with other routes.

Beginning Saturday, July 1, the following changes will be made:

Route 510: Laurens will only serve Millennium Boulevard stops on the inbound direction – when the bus is headed towards downtown Greenville. The following stops will receive service on the inbound trip, but will no longer receive service when the bus is headed towards Mauldin:

• Stop 1302: Millennium Bouvelard & Laurens Road
• Stop 1303: Millennium Bouvelard & Research Drive (outbound)
• Stop 1355: Millennium Bouvelard  & Innovation Drive (outbound)
• Stop 1299: Millennium Bouvelard & Research Drive (inbound)
• Stop 1300: Millennium Bouvelard & Laurens Road

Route 602: Woodruff Connector will no longer serve both sides of Innovation Drive and will not loop into the St. Francis Millennium parking lot.

• The following stops will no longer receive service by Route 602:
  1. Stop 1304: Innovation Drive & Sara Lane – a new stop will be installed across the street
  2. Stop 1411: St. Francis Millennium – a new stop will be installed at the intersection of Innovation Drive & Sara Lane
• The following stops will be added to Route 602:
  1. Stop 1299: Millennium Boulevard & Research Drive (outbound)
  2. Stop 1506: Laurens Road & Dallas Road

Download the New Transit App

The FindGreenlink app will stop working on July 1, 2023. Beginning on July 1, real-time bus tracking will be available on the Transit app. Passengers will need to download the Transit app in your app store, as the FindGreenlink app will not automatically be replaced with the Transit app on your smartphone.

The Transit app is free but offers a paid upgrade to turn on more features for the user – including options to view more bus routes, to view a full day’s schedule of departure times, to view more trip options when getting travel directions, and more. Greenlink will sponsor these upgrades for all Transit app users in the Greenville market effective July 19. The upgraded features will be automatically available, customers do not need to perform any actions to receive the upgrade. We encourage our customers to download the Transit app now and to take advantage of the Royale subscription for FREE beginning July 19.

In the meantime, customers may also track the real-time location of buses on Greenlink’s website at RideGreenlink.com/BusTracker. 

Mechanic Appreciation Day

Monday, June 12 was National Automotive Service Professionals Day! Greenlink used the day to recognize the work of our fleet maintenance team. Our mechanics and shop foremen are responsible for keeping the busses and trolleys in good condition so that we can continue to provide the vital transportation services our customers rely on.
