Fare Free Day – October 14
Fall for Greenville is one of the largest food and music festivals in the south and attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees. If you’re planning to attend, leave the car at home! Greenville Connects is sponsoring a Fare Free Day on Friday, October 14, in celebration of the festival. Hop aboard any fixed route bus and ride for free! Paratransit customers will also receive free rides, but reservations must be made by October 13. Greenlink passengers can use the Google Transit tool at RideGreenlink.com to plan their free trips on October 14. Customers are also encouraged to download the FindGreenlink app in the Android or iOS app store to get real-time arrival information for the buses. Name Our BusesGreenlink is celebrating National Name Your Car Day and is accepting submissions of funny or clever names for the buses. Nominations are due October 2, and the winning names will be displayed on the buses on Friday, October 7. Submit your ideas today!

Proposed Discounted Fares for VeteransGreenlink currently offers discounted fares for senior citizens aged 65 and older, Medicare recipients, and individuals with a disability. Greenlink staff are evaluating adding Veterans to the discounted fare category and your feedback is needed. - Attend and speak at the public hearing on Thursday, September 22, at 12:30 p.m. (301 University Ridge – Conference Room D, Greenville)

Apply for the Citizens Transit AcademyGreenlink's Citizens Transit Academy is a free, six-week program designed to offer Greenville County residents a unique opportunity to learn about public transportation and the opportunities and challenges facing Greenlink. Classes will take place on Tuesday nights from January 3-February 7, 2023. Complete the application by October 31!
