The Blue Ridge Mountains (around Greenville, Travelers Rest, and Asheville) have been named Runner-Up for the 2014 Travel Awards: Best Bike Destination. The win comes as editors deemed that the area "rivals anything overseas" thanks to "winding roads, great food, and incredible views."
