Chief Kenneth C. Miller invites you to the annual presentation of scholarships from the Harold C. Jennings Foundation which has been scheduled for Tuesday,
July 26, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. at the Marriott on the Parkway.
The Harold C. Jennings Foundation was formed to give financial aid to deserving children, both academically and financially, of police officers including those whose parent is retired, disabled, or killed in the line of duty. From its formation in 1977, the HCJ Foundation has granted a total of 431 scholarships over the last 39 years totaling $754,243 including this year’s recipients. Your attendance and coverage of this event will be greatly appreciated.
The recipients for the 2016-2017 scholarship awards are as follows:
Brandi Aiken
Daughter of retired Corporal Mike Aiken, Brandi is a previous scholarship winner who will be a senior at Southern Wesleyan University majoring in Special Education.
Radeja Attaway
Daughter of Corporal Rob Attaway, Radeja is a previous scholarship winner who will be a senior at Converse College majoring in Education and Spanish.
Lauren Blair
Daughter of Lieutenant Chi Blair, Lauren is a previous scholarship winner who will be a senior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Clinical Psychology.
Monica Colwell
Daughter of Corporal Rob Colwell, Monica is a previous scholarship winner who will be a junior at North Greenville University majoring in Criminal Justice.
Audrian’na Cureton
Daughter of Sergeant Eric Cureton, Audrian’na will be a freshman at Lander University majoring in Nursing.
Patrick Galvin
Son of Officer Pat Galvin, Patrick will be a sophomore at Greenville Technical College majoring in Nursing.
Neil Gamble
Son of Lieutenant Bob Gamble, Neil is a previous scholarship winner who will be a senior at Clemson University majoring in Chemical Engineering.
Darby McJunkin
Daughter of retired Corporal Joey McJunkin, Darby is a previous scholarship winner who will be a sophomore at Greenville Technical College majoring in either the Business or Medical Field.
Anna Palmer
Daughter of Corporal Drew Palmer, Anna will be a freshman at Greenville Technical College majoring in Nursing.
Jalen Neely-Pearson
Daughter of Sergeant Travis Pearson, Alexus is a previous scholarship winner who will be a junior at USC Upstate majoring in Criminal Justice.

Son of Sergeant Travis Pearson, Travis will be a freshman at Greenville Technical College in the College Transfer Program.

Son of retired Corporal Blake Roulette, Boyce will be a freshman at Clemson University majoring in Computer Science.
