[ARCHIVED] City Partners with American Red Cross on Blood Drive

City of Greenville Parks and Recreation is proud to partner with the American Red Cross and be a part of all they do for our community and our country. Healthy individuals can still donate in areas that have issued shelter in place declarations. There is no known end date in this fight against coronavirus and the Red Cross needs the help of blood and platelet donors and blood drive hosts to maintain a sufficient blood supply for weeks to come. The Red Cross follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and volunteer donors are the only source of blood for those in need.

The next drive will be Monday, May 11, 2020, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Juanita Butler Community Center, 2 Burns Street, Greenville, SC 29609. There still are open appointment slots. Please visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/account-login.html and enter: ZIP code to schedule an appointment for Monday.

For assistance contact Jan Cox, Recreation Programs Manager, jbcox@greenvillesc.gov or 864-483-2237.
