Liberty Bridge Undergoing Routine Inspection

WSP Engineering is conducting an inspection of the Liberty Bridge, including cables, welds, decking and any metal surfaces susceptible to rust. Once the inspection is complete, WSP will provide the City with a report of any deficiencies and a recommendation for maintenance and repair. These inspections typically occur every 3-5 years; however, the warranty on the rehabilitation work performed in 2017-2018 expires at the end of September so this inspection will allow the City to submit warranty claims to the contractor if any deficiencies are identified. The inspection is expected to take three days and the Liberty Bridge will remain open.
