West Washington Street Development Clears First Council Vote

Rendering of proposed Washington West Crescent Village development

City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance authorizing the sale of five City-owned parcels totaling .8 acre along West Washington Street for redevelopment. Plans for the property include a mixed-use development with 5,000 square feet of office space, 16 affordable housing units and community green space. Proceeds from the sale will be used to improve Antley Street, complete on-site improvements and provide down payment assistance to buyers purchasing the residential and commercial units.
