Armed Robbery at Spinx on S. Pleasantburg Drive.

2018-08-18 Spinx Armed Robbery Suspect

This morning at approximately 5:30 a.m., Greenville Police Communications (911) was contacted regarding an armed robbery at the Spinx Convenience Store located at 461 South Pleasantburg Drive. A store employee told officers that a subject entered the building and demanded money.

The subject had his hand in the front of his jacket, implying he had a weapon, and reportedly threatened to harm the employee if she didn’t give him money. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot to the right-side of the building.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” tall with an average build, around 30 years of age. He was wearing a tan color hoodie, black and red checkerboard pajama pants, and an ace bandage around his face.
