[ARCHIVED] Rutherford Road at North Main Street Shooting Suspect Surrenders

(GREENVILLE) - At approximately 2 p.m. today, Quavon Deshay Edmunds surrendered to GPD warrant officers at the Law Enforcement Center at 4 McGee St. Edmunds was accompanied by his attorney, Larry Crane. 

Yesterday, Edmunds was publicly identified by GPD investigators as the gunman in the February 7, 2018 shooting on Rutherford Road at North Main Street that left one victim in critical condition with a gunshot to the head. Investigators determined the incident was in retaliation after the accused’s house was burglarized earlier in the day. 

Edmunds has been served with two counts of attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a vehicle while occupied, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy.

Edmunds is expected to appear in Municipal Court on Thursday, February 22, at 3 p.m. The Court is located at 426 N. Main St.
