Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

Citizens wishing to address Council are requested to contact the City Clerk by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting to provide their name, address, and agenda item they wish to speak on. Names will be added to a sign-In list and individuals will be acknowledged one at a time to provide public comments for no more than three (3) minutes. NOTICE - Remote Viewing Location: The city of Greenville seeks input from citizens while adhering to public health and safety guidelines. All attendees at the remote viewing location will be subject to a temperature screening with a touch-less forehead thermometer. Anyone with a temperature reading above 100 degrees Fahrenheit will not be admitted. Attendees will be required to wear a covering over their mouth and nose, unless it violates a religious tenant or belief or causes difficulty breathing.
