Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

Code Connection - Moving From a Suburban to an Urban Framework for the New Development Code

The City is in the process of writing a new development code that will align with GVL2040 (the comprehensive plan) and address issues related to development across our community. Throughout the process, the City will host monthly online “Code Connection” sessions where the project team will provide updates and answer community members’ questions about the project.
