  1. The Greenlink Poetry Project

Moving Words. Moving People. The Greenlink Poetry Project connects poets with passengers to tell the stories of why they ride. The project was championed by Greenville Poet Laureate Glenis Redmond. "The whole purpose of the project is to dispel stereotypes, demystify each other, because bus riders are somebody, a neighbor, they're somebody's mama, they're somebody's brother, sister, cousin. And that's who we are. And that's what we found out through this project. And hopefully, you know, the theme of Why I Ride." Our thanks to M. Judson Booksellers for hosting a live reading. It was an honor to see the poets and riders come together to premiere their collaborations.
