Communications & Engagement

The Communications & Engagement Department encourages, facilitates and maximizes citizen awareness, input and participation in all aspects of city government through printed publications and management of the City’s web site, social media and GTV, the City’s YouTube channel.

Communications staff also assists the media in accessing information about City issues, programs and events, helps coordinate special projects for other City departments and provides internal communication to City employees.

Greenville Cares

Through Greenville Cares, the City's customer service call center, assists residents in utilizing City services and other community resources. Our neighborhood relations staff also works with established neighborhood associations and emerging organizations to help strengthen and improve Greenville's neighborhoods.
