Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are welcome, but please no pets. Individuals consuming alcohol at the event will need to purchase a $1 wristband. All City of Greenville events are smoke-free.
Movies begin at approximately 8 p.m. (sun down).

The Pink Panther

A French detective, Inspector Clouseau, is obsessed with the capture of a glamorous jewel thief known only as "The Phantom". A lead takes Clouseau to Switzerland and to Sir Charles, a rich English playboy. During the course of his investigations the most unexpected of persons becomes a strong suspect.


September 9
Woman of the Year
Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn (1942)

Tess and Sam work on the same newspaper and don't like each other very much. At least the first time, because they eventually fall in love and get married. But, Tess is a very active woman and one of the most famous feminists in the country; she is even elected as "the woman of the year". Being busy all the time, she forgets how to really be a woman and Sam begins to feel neglected.


September 16
Jailhouse Rock
Elvis Presley (1957)

Elvis stars as a convict who learns to play the guitar and sing while in prison. After his release, he becomes a successful star. JAILHOUSE ROCK, featuring the title song and "Treat Me Nice," captures the phenomenal energy and presence of the "King of Rock and Roll" at the peak of his career.

The War of the Worlds

Producer George Pal and director Byron Haskins' landmark adaptation of the H. G. Wells classic novel that focuses on the invasion of the earth by Martian war machines.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Charlie Bucket, a poor boy who is barely able to support his family, is fortunate to be chosen as one of the 5 people to go inside the most popular and powerful chocolate factory in the world: The Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory.

In the beautiful quaint beach resort of Amity Island, something hideous, something so deliciously evil has vanquished the tranquility and shattered the peace. First, it violently took the life of a young girl, leaving her mangled remains rotting on the beach, her echoed screams cursing the night skies. Next, it moved its attention to the children, ripping and tearing as blood turned the calm waters red. Then, just when they thought it was safe to go back in the water, it struck again, mercilessly rampaging in the estuary and attacking the piers where the fisherman unknowingly sat waiting for a catch. Now, something must be done, before it returns to feed. With the Amity tourist board and town Mayor Larry Vaughn determined to keep the beaches open for the Summer Season, its up to Police Chief Brody, marine biologist Matt Hooper and colorful fisherman Quint to hunt down the 200 Pound White Death and put an end to the bloodshed. They are going to need a bigger boat.

Sabrina
Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart (1954)

Sabrina is the young daughter of the Larrabee family's chauffeur who has been in love with David Larrabee for all her life. David is very spoiled and crazy for women, and has been totally ignoring Sabrina for years. When Sabrina goes to Paris for a few years, she returns a very attractive and sophisticated woman, and David is quickly drawn to her. David's brother Linus sees this and fears that David's imminent wedding with a very rich woman may be endangered. If the wedding is canceled, so will a great corporate deal with the bride's family. So, Linus tries to keep Sabrina off his brother, and the best way to do so is by charming her himself.
