Public Transportation Is About More Than Just Buses: Buses will always play a major role in a strong public transportation system. However, sole reliance upon buses can hinder a system’s overall effectiveness and efficiency. The best public transportation systems take advantage of multiple means of transporting people and seek to weave them into one thoughtful, seamless system where each different mode enhances and expands upon the potential of the others. These kinds of systems are commonly referred to as multi-modal. Click here to learn more about what Greenlink is doing to pursue a truly multi-modal public transportation system in Greenville County.

They cannot be purchased by a driver or on the bus. They can be purchased in advance for future use and
do not have to be used the date they purchase. Passes are validated when boarding the bus and
then remain valid only for that date. All passes expire after the last run of 7:30 pm.
