Revenue Division
The Revenue Division is responsible for the collection and control of City monies, including collection of payments related to ordinances and taxes such as business license tax, hospitality tax and other City revenues.
For the convenience of our customers, the Revenue Division is centrally located with the Building Codes Division on the 4th floor of City Hall.
Revenue Collections
Payments for the following can be made to the Revenue Division on the 4th Floor of City Hall:
- Street Cut/Encroachment Permits
- Additional Garbage Containers
- False Burglar Alarm Fees
- Delinquent Stormwater Fees
- Special Assessments
Payments can be made in the form of cash, money order, cashier’s check, check, credit card, bank draft, or ACH.
The Revenue Division also collects the 3% Local Accommodations Tax that the City levies on businesses engaged in providing accommodations within the city of Greenville.

Online payments are accepted for Municipal Court tickets or warrants, parking citations, park shelter rentals and parks and recreation program registration.
