Children have the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat at the Penske Touch-A-Truck day set for June 9 from 8 a.m. – Noon. Children of all ages can climb, sit and play on a variety of trucks on display on Main Street at McBee Avenue.

The free event will feature almost 20 different vehicles, including large trucks and heavy equipment from the City of Greenville Police, Fire and Public Works Departments and other various local commercial company vehicles.

While the children are playing at the event, adults are invited to stroll through the TD Saturday Market. Saturdays through October 27, the market offers farm-fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, seafood and other specialty foods on Main Street. Along with providing fresh produce each week, the market offers free monthly educational events in the It’s More than Just a Market activities area. The area also features live acoustic music and cooking demonstrations performed by local restaurant chefs.
