The City of Greenville Acoustic Café is a program to schedule and promote street
performance at five downtown locations: Main Street Plaza (Falls Park), Piazza Bergamo,
Hyatt Plaza, Riverwalk, Court Square and the Shoeless Joe Jackson Plaza.

Performance times are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The Acoustic Café operates
under a simple set of guidelines:
- Participants will apply for a performance permit at one of the five downtown
locations. The City of Greenville Special Events bureau will select performers
based on the type of performance and its family-friendly appeal.
- Performers are allowed to accept donations by using a city-allocated
donation box. Merchandise (such as a performer’s CDs) may be sold, but must be
pre-approved.
- Performers, once selected, are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
