Proposed City Redistricting Map and Plan

The 2010 census revealed a population shift within the City limits. As a result of this shift, the current City Council districts do not meet the guidelines of the Voting Rights Act. In response, the City of Greenville has developed a proposed redistricting plan that will redraw the boundary lines for the four voting districts for City Council. These proposed changes will ensure compliance with the Voting Rights Act.

At each meeting, City staff presented the proposed changes to the current City Council districts, answered questions and received input regarding those changes.
