Rising Star
Artist: Bob Doster

The sculpture, donated by llyn strong of llyn strong fine jewelry, was designed by internationally-renowned artist Bob Doster. At the time of the commission, the slogan for the city was “A Rising Star is Greenville.” llyn traded several pieces of her jewelry in order to obtain Bob’s sculpture for the city of Greenville. The corten steel piece is located on the corner of Main Street and College Street.
