Monelle and Perky

In the Rock Quarry Garden of Cleveland Park sits a young girl named Monelle reading a book to her dog Perky. Scripted on Monelle's book is "Dogs see the beauty in people as people see the beauty in roses."

The memorial portrait is of Monelle Stedman Riley who passed away at age 77. Her daughter, Cathy Santa Ronald, commissioned Kevin Brady to create the art piece and give it to the city of Greenville. The first edition of the sculpture is located in Largo, Florida.
